architecture and urban design, stressing the role of architecture in
engaging the public realm. Her work includes a diverse range of projects
for private and public clients such as affordable housing, mixed-use
development, and commercial buildings.

Roxana has been in charge for over five years of the first permit ready
house contracted by the City of Portland, OR for the Living Smart
Program. She has extensive experience in the building permit approval
process of housing and commercial façade and tenant improvement
projects with multiple agencies including design review, planning and
building departments. Roxana has been awarded for seamlessly
integrating residential sustainable designs into the firm’s built work.  The
Latah Street infill project in Boise, ID achieved a Silver LEED certification
and was selected as an example of green building projects by Fine
Homebuilding magazine in the article:  “Making the Green Building Dean’s

Currently she works with the City of Oakland Community and Economic
Development Agency on the Façade and Tenant Improvement Program on
various commercial building improvements including small neighborhood
retail and mixed use buildings in the Fruitvale district, International Blvd
corridor and Lake Merritt.

Roxana is a licensed Architect in California, Oregon, Idaho and a LEED
certified professional.  She holds a Master of Urban Design Degree from
the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor of Architecture
degree from the Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima, Peru.
TRENT GREENAN, AICP, NCARB, has 17 years experience
practicing urban design in the public and private sector. He is a prolific
designer with a passion for improving the urban environment, having
led numerous project types from the design and construction of large-
scale plazas and streetscapes to working with public agencies and
developers on urban design projects including specific plans, site and
master plans, design review, building proposals, and design guidelines.
He has contributed to numerous design charrettes and public
workshops, presenting design concepts and facilitating public
participation in addition to giving talks to organizations and agencies on
public open space design. Many of his projects have received awards
for their contributions to architecture and urban design and his
drawings of buildings and spaces have been key in illustrating design
concepts to the public.

Trent is a leader in the design of plazas, streetscapes, gateway
structures and landmarks, having led the design of award winning
projects such as the Redwood City Courthouse Square, West
Sacramento Washington Neighborhood Gateway, and Livermore First
Street Streetscape and Gateways in addition to the Plumas Street
Gateway and Streetscape in Yuba City, CA, Montebello Crossroads
Landmark and Streetscape and a downtown gateway tower for The City
of Dublin, CA.

Trent’s experience in site design and master planning has improved
several communities from large scale planning such as the master
plan for the revitalized downtown Livermore, CA and The Reno, NV
Retrac Corridor to site plans for  the Live Oak Neighborhood Center in
Santa Cruz County, CA.  Site plan and elevation review for cities such as
Tracy and Livermore, CA ensure that projects are implemented with the
highest design standards.
